Black Talent in Design and Fashion Fund- Founder

2020-Present

VIDEO- SOLE WOMENS 2022

A 501(c)(3) initiative set to directly fund Black students studying to enter the underrepresented fashion/footwear industry. Since the foundation in 2020, we've awarded a scholarship to 70 students across the US & 3 students in Europe, provided internship placement and secured full time positions for our graduates. Next round of scholarships open Sept 2025.

A safe space exclusively for Black women to connect and build community. Founded in 2022, BGBC has consistently created monthly events bringing together 250+ black women in the non diverse city of Portland.
